    • As budgeting becomes a greater challenge, it is more important than ever for government to stretch each dollar.  Mr. Bretl will share his experiences in developing a central purchasing system in Walworth County and the important role of purchasing in achieving budget goals.  He has worked in both city and county government in southeast Wisconsin for the past two decades.

  • The West Allis - West Milwaukee School District has been drawing national recognition for its cost-reducing efforts by saving more than $3 million on energy in the past three years.  Mr. Mangan will discuss how his school district was able to create a program to train 200 district employees to become more energy-conscious.
