Miller, CPPO, MGA Mr. Miller, Director of Purchasing and Supply Management for Harford County Public Schools in Bel Air, Maryland, will be presenting a condensed version of the NIGP two-day class, Creating Performance Based Request for Proposals, Contracting for the 21st Century. During the day, Mr. Miller will go through the steps of creating performance based RFP's and examine: The performance based concept; Fundamental understanding of the RFP process; Definition of Performance Based Contracting; Seven steps to performance based service acquisition; Writing the Performance Work Statement; Quality assurance plans; and Examples and lessons learned and how to improve the process.
