  • Presentation and demonstration of the services DemandStar is providing for WAPP members through the WAPP/DemandStar contract

  • The State of Recycled Paper presented by Wausau Paper representative(s) A Discussion of the current manufacturing of paper.  What does "recycled" mean now?  What is Forest Stewardship Certification?  This presentation will give an overview of the way the paper industry is headed.
     

Option 2:

  • The State of VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) by Tom Weiman.
    Many are looking at VOIP as the way to go with their phone service.  Tom has worked with the State of Wisconsin on the telecommunications bids and will discuss the ins and outs of VOIP as a telecom solution as well as procurement methods that work best.

  • Many of the States local governments and technical colleges are using DemandStar as a bid communications vehicle by using a special contract made available through WAPP.  DemandStar will present its WAPP product to vendors so that they have information on how it works and how to take advantage of it.
  • Optionally, vendors may choose to attend the Travel in Today's Climate from 8:30 - 10:00 A.M., as listed in the WAPP Members Agenda above.
