8:30 A.M. Welcome and Introductions

 

8:45 A.M. Resources for Green Procurement - Chris Newman, Environmental Protection Agency.  Chris will give an overview of several of the EPA programs for green procurement, including e-Peat, Energy Star, Office Suppllies, Office Furnishings and Smart Way Transport.  He will also provide resources for creating specifications for green procurements.

 

10:45 A.M. Break

 

11:00 P.M. Natural Step Program and Paper Procurement - Andrew Statz, City of Madison.  Andrew will present the City of Madison's Natural Step program and highlight Madison's efforts to purchase environmentally friendly paper products.

 

12:15 P.M. Lunch

 

1:30 P.M. Tour of Cascade Asset Management Computer Recycling Facility - Cascade Asset Management is a Madison based computer recycling company.  They will be giving us an introduction to their recycling process and conducting a tour of the facility.  Transportation to the facility and back to the Olbrich will be provided.

 

5:30 P.M. Networking with Colleagues - followed by dinner at Angelo's Restaurant, 5801 Monona Drive.
