Green Momentum is here, and governments have positioned themselves as leaders.  With increasing momentum, green policies and programs have taken shape as government agencies hunt for the most effective targets, incentives and rewards.  Green can be as much about doing the right thing for the environment as it is about being fiscally and socially responsible.

This session will utilize best practices that will allow you ro understand:

  • Benefits of "going green;"
  • Challenges to "going green" and how to overcome them;
  • Components to green purchasing policies;
  • Identifying and specifying for environmentally friendly products;
  • Overview of green labels and third-party certifications; and
  • Greening your IFB's and RFP's.
